Article 1 – Operator Identity and Purpose
The website www.cantal-nature.com is an online marketplace operated and administered by GIE Cantal Nature, an economic interest grouping established in accordance with the provisions of the French Commercial Code.

The Platform enables professionals who are members of GIE Cantal Nature to present and, where the corresponding features are enabled, sell or offer their activities, services, locations, goods, events or other services, as well as receive requests, bookings or reservations.
The GIE acts as the Platform operator and as a provider of an intermediation service. Unless expressly stated otherwise in the Offer, the GIE is not the seller or service provider that materially supplies the service or goods offered by a Professional.
Article 2 – Definitions
“Platform” or “Marketplace”: the website www.cantal-nature.com and its presentation, listing, matchmaking, request, booking, ordering and, where enabled, payment functionalities.
“GIE”: GIE Cantal Nature, operator and administrator of the Platform.
“Professional” or “Member”: the member of the GIE identified in an Offer who proposes and, unless otherwise indicated, performs the relevant service or supplies the relevant goods or service.
“Customer”: any person using the Platform or entering into a contract with a Professional through the Platform. Where the Customer acts for purposes outside their professional activity, they benefit from the protective provisions applicable to consumers.
“Offer”: any activity, service, rental, goods, product, event or service published on the Platform by or on behalf of a Professional.
“Specific Terms”: information specific to an Offer, Professional or order, presented to the Customer before the contract is concluded.
Article 3 – Purpose and Scope
These GTCU set out the conditions governing use of the Platform and, where the Customer uses the Platform to place an order or make a booking, the conditions governing the intermediation service provided by the GIE.
They do not replace the Specific Terms applicable to an Offer or, where applicable, the contractual terms specific to the Professional. These terms are made available to the Customer before the contract is concluded.
The contract relating to the service, rental or goods is concluded between the Customer and the Professional identified in the Offer, unless the GIE is expressly designated in the Offer as the seller or service provider.
Mandatory legal provisions applicable to the relationship between the Customer and the Professional or, where applicable, between the Customer and the GIE, shall prevail over any conflicting provision of these GTCU.
Article 4 – Identification and Obligations of the Professional
Each Offer intended for consumers enables the Professional offering it to be identified, in accordance with the legally required information.
The Professional shall provide the GIE with accurate, complete and up-to-date information concerning, in particular, their identity, contact details, legal status, activity, characteristics of their Offers, prices, availability, terms of performance and cancellation and, where required, their qualifications, authorisations, licences, insurance and guarantees.
The GIE may request supporting documents and carry out the checks necessary for the creation, maintenance, modification, listing or removal of an Offer. Such checks do not constitute a general certification of the Offer and do not transfer to the GIE obligations that legally fall upon the Professional.
The Professional shall promptly inform the GIE of any change likely to affect the legality, availability, price, terms of performance or safety of an Offer.
Article 5 – Role and Limitations of the GIE
Depending on the functionalities actually enabled, the GIE may in particular provide:
• publication and presentation of Offers;
• listing and ranking of Offers;
• matchmaking between Customers and Professionals;
• transmission of requests, bookings and confirmations;
• booking functionalities;
• payment functionalities, where enabled;
• technical or administrative assistance relating to the operation of the Platform.
The GIE does not, solely by virtue of these functions, become the seller or provider of the service offered by a Professional.
Article 6 – Use of the Platform
The Customer undertakes to use the Platform fairly, in accordance with its intended purpose and with applicable laws and regulations.
It is prohibited, in particular, to:
• use the Platform for fraudulent or unlawful purposes;
• impersonate a third party or knowingly provide false information;
• disrupt or attempt to disrupt the technical operation of the Platform;
• systematically extract or reuse content, data or Offers for unauthorised purposes;
• publish or transmit unlawful, misleading, harmful, defamatory content or content that infringes third-party rights;
• circumvent booking, payment or security measures implemented on the Platform.
The GIE may take any necessary and proportionate measure in the event of a breach of these GTCU, including removing content, suspending a functionality or restricting access, without prejudice to the Customer’s rights and applicable legal obligations.
Article 7 – Ranking, Listing and Transparency
Offers may be displayed or ranked according to functional criteria such as relevance to the search, category, location, availability, completeness of information, search parameters, reviews or other technical criteria actually used by the Platform.
The applicable ranking criteria are presented on the Platform in a clear and understandable manner. Where a contractual relationship, equity interest or remuneration paid to the GIE influences the ranking or listing of an Offer, this circumstance shall be brought to the Customer’s attention in accordance with applicable regulations.
Any Offer receiving paid commercial prominence or special treatment in return for remuneration shall be identified in an understandable manner.
